Leadership Giving is the fastest growing segment of the Capital Area United Way campaign. In the mid-80s fewer than 20 individuals were identified as Leadership Givers, and today there are more than 1,400.
People just like you who recognize the growing needs in our community and choose to help improve the quality of life for everyone in the 10-parish area make up United Way’s leadership givers.
Leadership Giving at Capital Area United Way starts at the Gottlieb Association level. Membership of the Gottlieb Association starts at $1,000 and continues through $9,999. Within the Gottlieb Association, there are four levels:
There are a couple of ways you can send your leadership gift to United Way:
1. If you run a workplace giving campaign through your employer, fill out your Employee Pledge Form and make sure to fill out section three on this form. This section is labeled Leadership Gift. After you have filled out this pledge form, make sure to turn the form into your company’s United Way coordinator.
2. If your employer does not run a workplace giving campaign, click here to donate directly through this website.
