United Way - Capital Area United Way

Capital Area United Way (CAUW) holds several annual events throughout the year. With sponsorship dollars from area companies, CAUW does not have to use the donors’ contributions to cover the cost for these events. In addition, all print and broadcast advertisements are also donated by local media or paid through sponsored money.

Each year, volunteers and staff solicit various companies to provide these sponsorship dollars. The sponsorship levels vary according to what is needed for the event and/or advertisement. In general, companies can be recognized in the following ways:

• Great media coverage at events
• Company name/logo will appear
  • on event invitations
  • in the event program
  • on signage
  • on the back of t-shirts
  • on our Web site
  • in press releases
  • and/or Public Service Announcements (PSAs)
• Companies will also be recognized within the CAUW Annual Report distributed as an insert in the Greater Baton Rouge Business Report in the fall.
